Happy (belated) Easter - and other "after the fact" news

 Happy belated Easter!! He is risen indeed! I pray you all had a wonderful time with friends and family worshipping our risen Lord.

Surprise!! 

I’m in Czech Republic!! It might not be a surprise to most of you, but several of my snail mail subscribers won’t have heard until now. At the end of February, we started the process of my return because I needed to come back before my visa expired in early April. March was an intense four weeks of support raising, packing, and saying goodbye to family and friends. The Lord was in each step of the process and so many details worked out in just the right timing! At the beginning of March, I still needed about 25% monthly support and praise the Lord I now only need about 7%!! From ticket hunting to covid testing to passport control, and so many other little things that you don’t think about until you’re flying internationally during a pandemic, problems were few and taken care of quickly! I took a couple of weeks to rest and get over jet lag, as well as get my visa renewal process going, and now I’m finishing up my team building before I jump into ministry. The Lord continues to provide everything I need and I’m looking forward to when my team is complete and I can focus on ministry!  

Home Sweet Home

In other news, I have an apartment! Miriam (who I introduced to you last fall) and I found an adorable little apartment in town, a five-minute drive from our property. We are slowly furnishing and decorating, and looking forward to a time when we can open our home to our friends and family here. It’s such a blessing to be able to have a space to welcome people and care for them. I’ll share more pictures when it’s a little more organized.

- pray for the remaining 7% support to come in quickly

- pray for the transition process - language learning, moving, etc.

- praise for safe travels from US to CZ

- praise that the state of emergency will be lifted April 11th. We are hoping things will begin to reopen!

- praise for health and safety in travels and also now as we do ministry together
