An Introduction and a Milestone

Hello everyone! My prayer for all of you is the same that Paul wished for the Christians in Colossi:

“that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.”

I am praising the Lord that I have reached 50% of my monthly support goal!! In the midst of everything going on nationally and personally, this is a wonderful success! I am so grateful for each and every person who has joined my investment team, and I am excited to see who will be a part of that other 50%. I also have about 44% of my set-up fund and 26% of my prayer warriors goal!

The team in Czech has had to be very creative with ministry the past several weeks. The restrictions are very strict and normal ministries are not allowed to take place, but they have been teaching English online, cleaning and reorganizing the whole property, and assisting in a senior home nearby. Please pray for their safety, as well as for opportunities for spiritual conversations.

This month I would like to officially introduce you to one of our interns in Czech: Miriam. Her and I have become close friends over the past two years, and we are thrilled to have her on our team!! She is also in the process of building her investment team like me, and she is already working hard in the ministry in Czech. I asked her to briefly share her story so you all could get to know her a bit.

My name is Miriam Kuklinova and I was born into a Christian family. I was saved at the age of 10 at the English camp. A pastor from the UK shared the gospel one night and even though I have heard the gospel many times before, this was the first time it really touched me. After the summer when I got back to my church, it was really hard for me to stay faithful to what I believed because there was no other young person in my church except me and my sister. I remember that I was ashamed of the gospel and I did not read the Bible and my prayer life was terrible. Two years after the first camp, I went back to the same camp and the same pastor was the main speaker there. One night he talked about how Christians should live after they trusted the Lord. I remember that it touched me so much because I knew that he was speaking about me and that my spiritual walk was almost dead and not pleasing to God. I asked my counselors to pray with me and I rededicated my life to Jesus.

I had a dream to study at the Bible Institute since I finished high school. There are not many options in the Czech Republic and for a couple years, my family situation wasn't really supportive, but the Lord made it possible for me to go to the Bible Institute in Hungary last year and it was the best year of my life. Three years ago, I felt that God was calling me to full-time ministry, but I wasn't obedient to His call and I was just finishing my studies and I started working as a teacher. But throughout this whole last year, God has been working in my heart and revealing my motives and reasons for not going into full-time ministry and I realized that I still have this call to serve in the Czech Republic and see young people turning to God and see their lives being transformed. I am willing to give God my life and time to use me through this ministry. In my life, Christian camps have played a crucial role in my spiritual life and I am so thrilled to be able to serve with the same ministry to many kids and teens in Czech.
In my free time I love to play various instruments and worship God through songs. I am also a passionate horse back rider and love taking care of animals.

If you want to hear more about what Miriam is doing, she has a group on Facebook where she posts pictures and regular updates, and she also has an email newsletter she sends out every month.

Thank you all for your continued support and prayers! I would not be able to do this without each and every single one of you. I truly appreciate all of you and praise the Lord for the team of people who stand all around me, supporting me in so many ways. God bless you all!!

Love in Christ,

Adele
